More talk of failure
Lifehack.org just published a post today titled “Welcome Failure”
Basically, you need to fail in order to succeed. It’s a rule almost. In the past couple days I’ve been reflecting on this months small failures and adjusting my goals to attain success next month with new goals. However, after further thought, I believe that I probably should also include something that I have a 49% chance of failure. I choose 49% just because I still want to feel like I have a good chance of succeeding, but not so good that it isn’t going to be a challenge, and thus a learning experience.
So, in addition to a couple small goals I’ll set out to achieve, I should also set out to reach for something that has a greater chance of failure, meaning I’d have to accept a greater deal of risk.
I’m still pondering, I have 5 days until April 1st to think more about it.
